Process and material

Silicone or PVC — pick by detail

Soft PVC gives sharper edges and finer multi-colour detail, which is why most 2D anime keychains are PVC. Silicone wins on heat resistance, skin contact and stretch. If your artwork has thin lines or more than four colours, PVC is the honest recommendation.

Moulding and finishing

Charms are compression moulded in a CNC-engraved steel mould, then deflashed by hand. The attachment hole is moulded in, not drilled, so it will not tear out under load.

Post-curing

Everything is post-cured at 200 °C for 2 hours so the piece does not smell when the end user opens the bag — a real issue for promotional runs that sit in storage.

AI-generated illustration A typical colour bench. Pigment is mixed by hand to a matched chip rather than ordered in the exact shade, which is why a Pantone reference and a cured chip to approve against both matter more than a colour code on a purchase order.

What we have moulded

Seasonal and generic characters from our own moulds — shown here because the artwork is ours or in the public domain. Shape, strap printing, plating and packing are all variables we change per order.

Client-commissioned character work is covered by an NDA and is shared only on request — read how we handle licensed artwork.

Questions buyers ask about charms & keyrings

What is the lowest quantity you will run?

100 pcs. The one-time mould cost is what makes small runs uneconomic elsewhere; we keep that cost low by engraving the tool in-house.

Silicone or PVC for my design?

PVC for fine lines and more than four colours; silicone for heat, skin contact and stretch. Send the artwork and we will tell you which one will actually look right.

Can I get a sample before ordering?

Yes. Sampling takes 3–7 days and the sample fee is credited against your production order.

How do you attach the ring?

The hole is moulded into the body during compression, not drilled afterwards, so the silicone around it stays intact and does not tear under pull force.

Can you pack them individually?

Yes — polybag, OPP bag with a printed backing card, or a branded header card. Tell us the retail channel and we will propose a packing format.
